Tampa Jazz Club

Since 1995, the Tampa Jazz Club has served the Tampa community as a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization that hosts concerts in Ybor City and New Tampa. Their mission, “generating interest in preserving, understanding and performing jazz" provides a stage for a variety of ensembles and groups that perform different sub-genres.


Currently, the Tampa Jazz Club hosts their recurring HCC Sundays show at:


HCC Ybor (Mainstage Theatre - 1411 East 11th Avenue Tampa, FL 33605)


and New Tampa Jazz Nights at the New Tampa Performing Arts Center

(8550 Hunters Village Rd, Tampa, FL 33647).


Concerts are ticketed. GA prices vary.

The Independent Bar and Cafe

The Independent, nestled in Seminole Heights, offers a wide selection of beers and comfort food along with a robust selection of music and events. They host their 1st and 3rd Saturday jazz nights from 8pm onward. Music events are free to attend. This is a chill venue that highlights the best of local Tampa jazz.

DI Coffee Bar

A recent addition to the Tampa Jazz scene, DI Coffee Bar serves up coffee and all day fare in an intimate location. Hosted by musician Dominic Walker, this weekly free jazz jam takes place in DI Coffee Bar's back patio from 7:30-10:00pm.

Carrollwood Cultural Center

Carrollwood Cultural Center focuses on strengthening the community through art education and events/concerts. They host the “Jazz with Jim” series on the last Friday of each month and provide a stage for other jazz concerts like the Carrollwood Jukebox Big Band. Concerts are ticketed. GA rates vary.

Corner Club

The Corner Club is a neighborhood bar and restaurant in Seminole Heights. They serve a variety of AM and PM foods, coffees, and alcoholic beverages. They host the Nick Peters Quartet (formally Jazz Night with In the Pocket) every second Sunday. This is a free event.
