The Out Groove

The Out Groove is a futuristic jazz band led by Jakob Dee aka Jakbo. The music pushes boundaries of jazz in an attempt to challenge what the genre is. Inspired by modern heroes Louis Cole, Mike Mitchell, Greg Spero, Jonathan Scales and other aggressive creators.

Katara

Katara is a musical duo consisting of Seth Lynn and Natalie DePergola. A unique group in the sense that it is led by harp, playing styles inspired and jazz, R&B, Gospel, classical, and music from around the world. A sound that is constantly exploring, collaborating, changing, and finding new ways to bridge gaps not only between genres but people.

Rejuvenation

Rejuvenation is jazz fusion funk and features bassist Giancarlo Yanes-Martinez and a stellar lineup of musicians including Mark Mayea and Jöęł Bôłdš on keys, Thomas Griggs on guitar, E.J Mitchell on drums, and Nick Bredal on sax.

The Icehouse

The Icehouse started its life as an ice cream distributorship in 1964. In 2017, it was reborn as the New Groove City Music Complex (NGCMC). It served the local music community by providing music lessons, rehearsal spaces, and recording (and broadcasting) studios. In 2023, under new ownership, it morphed into The Icehouse. Its new name serves as a respectful nod to its original existence. Carrying on the NGCMC mission, The Icehouse offers band rehearsal studios, recording studios and spaces to local musicians. As it continues to evolve, it will become a venue for album release events, outdoor music performances, and shared artist spaces. Because of its location on the Pinellas Trail, it will evolve into a destination that gives trail riders, walkers, and runners a place to stop and cool off with music in the background from all genres.
